GreenCLUB is the corporate blog of Green Engineering , an italian EPC company specialising in the realisation of industrial plants for ethanol production. We've created this place to talk about experiences around the world of ethanol production (spirits, extra neutral alcohol, bioethanol , fuel ethanol,)and in general about biofuels and renewable energies . But this space is something more... . Here we would like to share our work, our on site activities, during plants design, contruction and start-up . We would like to tell you about products of our Customers, about traditions and cultures behind spirits coming from different countries.. . Photos of start-up of the bioethanol unit for ETHCO

The followings are some photo taken by our new Process Engineer Tommaso Bacci ; photos show some moments during the start-up of our molecular sieves ethanol dehydration skid unit realized for ETHCO (Malawi) . The unit is now producing 20.000 litres per day of bioethanol (100% , 200 proof alcohol ) starting from raw alcohol by sugar cane molasses.
We have already talked about this unit, that has the dimension of a standard container and is preassembled in Italy .

The skid is just near the structure of the distillery, that was started by our process engineers (see last post).

The bioethanol is used to drive car in Malawi, pure or blended with gasoline . This is a car owned by ETHCO and propelled by Bioethanol they produce with their new plant :

GreenCLUB è un'idea di Green Engineering

Green Engineering è una Società Italiana di Ingegneria specializzata nella progettazione e costruzione di impianti industriali per la produzione di etanolo. Il marchio Green Engineering nasce nel Settembre 1999 dalla volontà di tre Manager e del loro team di tecnici.
G.E. progetta e realizza impianti industriali sulla base di proprio know-how nel campo della produzione di alcool e del trattamento delle acque industriali.
Dispone di collaudate tecnologie in grado di processare qualsiasi tipo di materia prima che possa essere convertita in etanolo (vino, melasso, cereali, patate, frutta fresca e secca, etc…), producendo qualsiasi tipo di distillato (Rum, Cognac, Wisky, Vodka, etc…), alcool neutro ed extra-neutro, alcool anidro (bioetanolo) ed alcool industriale. Rese di conversione e consumi energetici sono al massimo livello dello stato dell’arte della distillazione industriale
Green Engineering mette a disposizione tutto il proprio know how scientifico, tecnico e manageriale, in ogni fase dello sviluppo del progetto (dall’idea iniziale alla consegna dell’impianto funzionante e fino alla fine della garanzia), con l’obiettivo di garantire il miglior risultato possibile in termini di ritorno sull’investimento.
In questa logica siamo disponibili a fornire sia un impianto “Chiavi in mano”, sia una o più qualsiasi delle fasi di progetto, realizzazione e gestione di un impianto :
