The followings are some photo taken by our new Process Engineer Tommaso Bacci ; photos show some moments during the start-up of our molecular sieves ethanol dehydration skid unit realized for ETHCO (Malawi) . The unit is now producing 20.000 litres per day of bioethanol (100% , 200 proof alcohol ) starting from raw alcohol by sugar cane molasses.We have already talked about this unit, that has the dimension of a standard container and is preassembled in Italy .
The skid is just near the structure of the distillery, that was started by our process engineers (see last post).

The bioethanol is used to drive car in Malawi, pure or blended with gasoline . This is a car owned by ETHCO and propelled by Bioethanol they produce with their new plant :
