GreenCLUB is the corporate blog of Green Engineering , an italian EPC company specialising in the realisation of industrial plants for ethanol production. We've created this place to talk about experiences around the world of ethanol production (spirits, extra neutral alcohol, bioethanol , fuel ethanol,)and in general about biofuels and renewable energies . But this space is something more... . Here we would like to share our work, our on site activities, during plants design, contruction and start-up . We would like to tell you about products of our Customers, about traditions and cultures behind spirits coming from different countries.. . UK Rum Fest 2012

This year we have been again at the Rum Fest in London, one of the most important Festival for Rum enthusiasts in the world.
We found a smaller Rum Fest , with respect to the 2011 , with smaller stands and with some "big guys" missing : Captain Morgan and Havana Club .
Many people ask us why we go there, since that's most a consumer event . The reason is very easy ...we love Rum, and not only as drink itself, but the culture , the traditions and the personal histories that are hidden in each golden bottle.

Each year we know new people, from the large brand to the smaller ones, which very often are family companies .

The following brand is one of the brand that in these years seems to offer a very elegant taste , perfectly reflected by the choice of the bottle. The name is Rum St.Barth :

Of course together with the small brands, you can find also the big boss of the industry. This is a part of the amazing stand of Bacardi :

Its difficult to think to a Rum distiller that does not have any stand at the Uk Rum Fest , so you can enjoy your Appleton Estate, your Plantation Rum , your Brugal...

We had a stand too at the Rum Fest , and we were happy of chatting with all the guys interested in the technologies behind the rum production .

One of the most expected happening of the Rum Fest is the Golden Rum Barrel Awards dinner. The dinner is a real celebration of all the professionals engaged in this amazing industry .

A part from Rum , many stands offer food products that in some way are related to Rum, so chocolate (of course) , several kind of cakes , tea and coffe , sugar and even spicy sauces

The Uk Rum Fest is a unique mix of colours, flavours and fun ..... exactly what Rum represents in the spirit industry !

GreenCLUB è un'idea di Green Engineering

Green Engineering è una Società Italiana di Ingegneria specializzata nella progettazione e costruzione di impianti industriali per la produzione di etanolo. Il marchio Green Engineering nasce nel Settembre 1999 dalla volontà di tre Manager e del loro team di tecnici.
G.E. progetta e realizza impianti industriali sulla base di proprio know-how nel campo della produzione di alcool e del trattamento delle acque industriali.
Dispone di collaudate tecnologie in grado di processare qualsiasi tipo di materia prima che possa essere convertita in etanolo (vino, melasso, cereali, patate, frutta fresca e secca, etc…), producendo qualsiasi tipo di distillato (Rum, Cognac, Wisky, Vodka, etc…), alcool neutro ed extra-neutro, alcool anidro (bioetanolo) ed alcool industriale. Rese di conversione e consumi energetici sono al massimo livello dello stato dell’arte della distillazione industriale
Green Engineering mette a disposizione tutto il proprio know how scientifico, tecnico e manageriale, in ogni fase dello sviluppo del progetto (dall’idea iniziale alla consegna dell’impianto funzionante e fino alla fine della garanzia), con l’obiettivo di garantire il miglior risultato possibile in termini di ritorno sull’investimento.
