Sono stati giorni intensi quelli che dall' 8 all' 11 Settembre ci hanno visto partecipare come GOLD SPONSOR alla World Distilled Spirits Conference 2014 di Glasgow!
Eventi, incontri, scambi, presentazioni e approfondimenti si sono susseguiti in un contesto di altissimo livello, offrendo ad ogni partecipante reali opportunità di crescita in un settore - quello dell'industria dell'alcool - che sempre più pone nuove sfide e cerca nuove soluzioni.
Grazie di cuore quindi agli organizzatori che hanno permesso a coloro che operano nel settore di incontrarsi e condividere conoscenze ed esperienze.
Quello che segue è una sorta di breve "diario di bordo" che ripercorre e condivide con voi lettori i momenti più salienti - e divertenti! - del contributo portato da Green Engineering.
Parole e immagini per ripercorrere quello che da qualcuno è stato definito "The Italian Job": un mix di rigore e creatività, innovazione e rispetto della tradizione che ha contraddistinto la nostra presenza e definito concretamente cosa intendiamo con il termine eccellenza.

Il Ricevimento di Benvenuto ha voluto celebrare la nuova Casa del Bombay Sapphire a Laverstoke Mill (distillery.bombaysapphire.com) , per cui Green Engineering ha realizzato le due distillerie (India Still House ed Heritage Still House).
Con il Gin Bombay Sapphire proveniente direttamente dai bellissimi alambicchi in rame di Laverstoke Mill forniti da Green Engineering, il nostro Alex ha preparato degli autentici STATE OF THE ART cocktails a tutti i presenti, che potevano scegliere tra NEGRONI, AVIATION, TOM COLLINS and BRAMBLE.... o, volendo, assaggiarli tutti e quattro!!
Alexander Frezza, Finalista Italiano e Secondo Classificato al Bombay Sapphire World's Most Imaginative Bartender, collabora con Green Engineering nella presentazione dei prodotti che provengono da distillerie realizzate da noi. Il contatto diretto e continuativo che Alex ha con i consumatori finali di ogni parte del mondo, ci permette di anticipare tendenze, intuire gusti, "annusare" umori e desideri. Un valore aggiunto, questo, che facilita i nostri Clienti nella nella fase di definizione, branding e marketing del proprio prodotto.
The Welcome Reception wanted to celebrate the Bombay Sapphire House at Laverstoke Mill (distillery.bombaysapphire.com), for whom Green Engineering has realized the distilleries (India Still House and Heritage Still House).
Using the Bombay Sapphire directly coming from the beautiful copper pot stills of Laverstoke Mill supplied by Green Engineering, our Alex has prepared real STATE OF THE ART Cocktails for the guests, who could choose among NEGRONI, AVIATION, TOM COLLINS and BRAMBLE.... or, of course, enjoy all four!!
Alexander Frezza, Italian Finalist and Second Classified of Bombay Sapphire World's Most Imaginative Bartender, cooperates with Green Engineering in the presentation of the products coming from the distilleries realized by GE. Alex is directly in contact with Consumers of all over the World This allows us to anticipate trends, guess tastes, "sniff" desires and moods which effectively facilitate our Clients when defining and branding their final product.
Always a huge crowd of people waiting for special Alex's cocktails..... guess why?!!

Alex ha infatti guidato un tutored tasting del Bombay Sapphire fornendo spiegazioni dettagliate e illustrando i collegamenti tra una eccellente ingegneria di processo ed un eccellente prodotto finale!
In the afternoon, Alex guided a tutored tasting of the Bombay Sapphire, investingating further the idea of product development assistance that GE gives to their Clients
While tasting, Alex has given detailed explanations and illustrated the connections between an excellent process engineering and an excellent final product!

Alle 10 di mattina, come da programma, c'è stato l'intervento del nostro Eugenio Macchia che ha illustrato alla Conferenza dei delegati il contributo scientifico di Green Engineering dal titolo "Distillation Surfaces functionalization by CU and TIO2 nanoparticles" ("Funzionalizzazione delle superfici di distillazione con nanoparticelle di rame e titanio").
At ten o' clock, our Eugenio Macchia presented to the Conference of Delegates the scientific contribution of Green Engineering "Distillation Surfaces functionalization by CU and TIO2 nanoparticles".
L'intervento ha riscosso un grande successo ed ha suscitato l'interesse e la curiosità di molti (imprenditori, distillatori, ricercatori, scienziati, studenti, etc) , che hanno successivamente visitato lo Stand per ulteriori informazioni e approfondimenti.
In effetti, Green Engineering è il primo fornitore di impianti di distillazione ad introdurre nanotecnologie per il miglioramento della qualità dei distillati.
L'intensa attività di ricerca portata avanti avanti negli ultimi anni dal proprio Centro di Ricerca, il CREA, in collaborazione con l'Università di Siena, si è concretizzata in un brevetto industriale ed offre adesso la concreta possibilità di aumentare fino a 6 volte la capacità del rame di catturare componenti indesiderati. Questo significa che, grazie alla tecnologia G.E., la superficie di un piatto catturerà la stessa quantità di mercaptani (ed altri componenti indesiderati) di molti piatti in sequenza (fino a 6 piatti, in certe condizioni).
Eugenio's talk has had a great success and aroused the interest and curiosity of many people (entrepreneurs, distillers, researchers, scientists, students, colleagues, etc) who have then visited our stand form more information and details.
As a matter of fact, Green Engineering is the first supplier of distilleries introducing advanced nanotechnologies for the improvement of spirits quality.
Following many years of research on copper in cooperation with its Research Centrre, the CREA (University of Siena), we patented the first nanocopper surface and offer now to all our Cusotmer the real opportunity of increasing up to 6 times the capability of copper to catch undesidered compounds. This means that the surface of 1 tray will catch the same amount of mercaptans(and other undesidered compounds) of many sequential trays (up to 6 trays in certain conditions).
