Il soggetto che abbiamo scelto è stato il mercatino di natale di Piazza del Campo . Nessun riferimento esplicito al natale : nessun abete, nessun presepio, nessuna particolare scritta luminosa. Eppure le luci calde, i bambini che girano tra bancarelle piene di dolci e giocattoli, i ragazzi e le ragazze che cercano oggettini da regalare ci hanno comunicato un'immagine chiara e "pacifica" del natale, meno scintillante forse ma più intima .
The main subject that we have chosen this year is the Christmas market in Piazza del Campo, the famous place of the "Palio di Siena" horse race. No explicit reference to Christmas: No pine, no crib, no particular blinking light. Yet the warm lights, the children running around the stalls full of sweets and toys, boys and girls looking for trinkets, comunicate us a clear and "peaceful" statement of Christmas, perhaps less shiny but more intimate .
