The main feature of the Beylerbeyi Raki is that it is produced by a triple distillation process. "Triple distilled" means that the Suma (the alcohol obtained from grapes fermented mash) is re-distilled in the special Alambics together with aniseeds three times, in order to charge all the flavours of the aniseeds . The result is a very clear alcohol enriched with all the flavours of aniseeds. Also the catalytic effects of copper (material used for the realization of Alambics for the production of Raki) is maximized through this triple distillation process .
Pure copper is very important for this kind of products, and so we supplied to Sarper alambics made of pure copper, heated through an external jacket in order to avoid any contamination of alcohol by steam that should result in undesirable odours.
